The course of studies is enriched by various workshops led by eminent artists (e.g. Leszek Mądzik, Larry Hunt, Janos Palyi), as well as by participation in festivals at home and abroad.

Entrance exams

During the entrance examination the performance potential of the candidate is estimated, also the ability to understand and interpret a text, emotional intelligence, vocal capability and correct pronunciation, an ear for music, a sense of rhythm, good physicality, artistic imagination and a basic talent for animation of objects and puppets. The examination is in three stages. The first two test the practical abilities of the candidate and include: a rhythm-movement examination, evaluation of delivery of a previously prepared piece of poetry or prose, presentation of an acting etude and an exercise and another exercise with an object.

The third stage is a theoretical exam which estimates a candidate's knowledge of literature, history of drama and theatre. There is also an exam in a foreign language.
